Merry CHRISTmas!!

From our home to yours...

Hope your Christmas is one to remember!

This will be a hard one for us because we both lost our grandfathers this year, so it will be our first Christmas without them. BUT, I'm rejoicing, because I know they are having a FAR better Christmas with Christ Himself! Praise God for that comfort!

Merry CHRISTmas!

Basketball

Our church has a great sports ministry every year, with basketball and cheer leading. We have a nice gym, so why not use it to minister to others? Plus, we have some generous people who help sponsor the kids who can't afford it.

This was the first year Braden could play, and his first time playing basketball. He did a great job! You can definitely tell he has two older sisters that play.

He even made a foul shot!

Hot and sweaty after playing so hard!

Sweet sibling love

 Cash absolutely adores his Braden!

Not sure how I got out without a picture of Bailey or Quinn. Sneaky girls!

So thankful for this wonderful ministry! God is so good  :)

Sweet Sixteen

**WARNING-PICTURE OVERLOAD**

The first girl to ever fill me with so much love and joy is SIXTEEN!

How is this possible?!?

We celebrated New Year's Eve with a party to celebrate her. They rented our local ballroom (which was gorgeous!), her aunt catered the event (which was delicious, as always!), and one of our best DJ'd the party.

And of course, we only hire the best security!

I promise, she is not really that much taller.
Although, she tried hard!

Quinn was sooo not photogenic that night!

My beautiful girls!

My sleepy girl about to nap. She woke up literally 5 minutes before midnight.
Guess she wanted to ring in the new year too  :)

Too sweet!

Happy New Year 2012 from mine to yours!

We got her windows tinted and initials for her car. She seemed to love them!

Be safe, sweet girl! We love you!

God has truly blessed me too much!

PHS Homecoming

Each of my three oldest nieces/nephew have been in homecoming as a small child. Each child also more than once. That's one benefit of being a teacher's son. They go up there after school and hang out and meet the students.

Braden had already been in one football and one basketball homecoming. They had already decided no more, that was until he was asked by one of the senior boys to do it again. So, why not if you already own a tux and aren't out any money.

Look how handsome!

Two of my favorite boys EVER!

The first little boy to steal my heart

My heart is totally full with love.

God is amazing!

Catch up

I promised myself I was going to get better at this whole blogging thing.

Ugh, screwed up on that quick!

So, at the beginning of the year, we found out Cash's preschool teacher had to up and move back to NC. Very sad for us! She was AMAZING!! So, they were looking to fill her spot.

Well...

I am officially the music teacher. God takes care of us. Just the day before, B and I were talking about how we do live comfortably without struggling with me staying home with our kids, but how we would love to be able to save more. The next day, the director called and asked if I would be interested. Of course, Mommy and son in a class together all the time wouldn't be so great, so the music teacher moved to his 3 yr-old class and I took over music. So far, I love it! It's only two days a week for about 5 hours, so it works out perfectly for us.

But what about Quinn?? The youngest they have there are two-year-old. They had an opening in a 2yr old room, so we decided to try it, and she LOVES it!

Q's first day!

She thinks she is such a big girl! I'm sad my baby is growing up too quickly. She now doesn't want to sit in her high chair at home, because she gets to sit in a big girl chair at school. Mrs. Laurie rocks her to sleep and carries her a lot (NOT saying this is a bad thing! I'm very thankful Laurie loves her!), but now she wants mommy to do the same ALL. THE. TIME!

Ready for another day at school

Cash is adjusting well to the changes, thankfully! He also is doing so well with his speech! He is loving going to a "real big school" and working with Mrs. Lisa.

Don't worry - he's had a haircut! lol

I, Jessica, promise to try and do better about blogging.

By the way, our God is an awesome God! Have a great day  :)

Happy New Year!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year! So hard to believe it is 2012. It's going to be a great year, I have a feeling. Plus, I have a thing about even numbers so it has to be good!
As usual, I have made my resolutions, but that's a different post.
We spent the evening celebrating my sweet oldest niece's sweet 16! We had a blast!
Here's a sneek :)

Halloween

The holidays are the best, but Halloween, not so much. I love watching the kids have so much fun dressing up. I love the creativity people come up with the costumes. But I'm also the one who is safe with Halloween. We don't do any of the scary-looking, nasty decorations. Pumpkins, (nice) ghosts, mums, etc. is my cup of tea.

This year, I helped Momma do the costumes. A few years the grandkids on my side coordinate together.

Cash's 1st Halloween (2 months old)

Halloween 2009

We didn't coordinate this year. I found this costume and just couldn't pass it up! My neices/nephew on my side were pirates that year.

Halloween 2010

Cash was a monkey last year. He wasn't very excited about Halloween at all. And I was about to pop with Quinn. Less than a month to go! The neices/nephew were adorable clowns!

My brother-in-law and oldest neice

So this year we were....

GNOMES!

Sorry for picture overload! Hope your Halloween was great too!
